WL-30 Heat Bond Tape Laminator
The WL-30 Heat Bond Tape Laminator is designed to apply 3M Brand Heat heat-activated tapes to continuous profile extrusions for the industrial, consumer, and automotive OEM markets. The tape is unwound and guided onto the extrusion over a cooled lamination wheel. The air cylinder-loaded lamination wheel compensates for variations in profile thickness. Hot air is blown onto the heat-activated adhesive and product immediately before it is laminated onto the product by a thermostatically controlled hot air torch. Then, the product conveyor pulls the extrusion into the laminating wheel.
WL-50 Liner Pull Tab Applicator
The WL-50 Liner Pull Tab Applicator dispenses, cuts and seals 3M #5400 or Y4230 heat bond tabbing film ½” to 1 ¾” wide to the release liner on 3M acrylic foam tape. The tabs are typically applied to the ends of the tape or the joints between tapes for easy removal of liners, exposing the high-strength adhesive.
TS-510-C Heat Bond Taping Machine
The TS-510-C Heat Bond Taping Machine is designed to apply 3M brand heat-activated tape in lengths from 6” to 120” to profile extrusions or molded parts for the industrial, consumer, and automotive OEM markets. Heated air is blown onto the heat-activated adhesive and product from an electric heat torch on the applicator.
SD-400 Powered Unwind
The SD-400 Powered Unwind Stand is designed to provide an unwind system for a level would tape with a liner. A liner rewind spindle provides for rewinding the liner as the tape is unwound. Tape Width: Min: 0.157” (4mm); Max: 0.630” (16mm).
SD-610 Robot-Mounted Tape Applicator
The SD-610 Robot-Mounted Tape Applicator is designed to handle the demands of 6-axis tape application with robot end-of-arm tooling in mind. The applicator is intended to be mounted on a robot wrist joint. The recommended minimum robot size is 10 kilograms, not limited to depending on the application. Available for ¼ inch (6 millimeters), 3/8 inch (10 millimeters), ½ inch (12 millimeters), ¾ inch (18 millimeters), and 1 inch (25 millimeters) wide tape. Custom widths are available upon request.
