We have applicators to apply various VHB and other foam-type tapes to materials for assembly, as well as apply protective tapes to finished surfaces on windows and doors, extrusions and other products to protect them from scratching.
T-626 Flat Surface Tape Applicator
The T-626 Tape Applicator is designed to apply a wide variety of pressure-sensitive tapes up to 12 inches wide (wider widths available upon request). This product has an application speed of 350 feet per minute (106.6 m/min). Tape can be applied continuously, or in short strips with gaps to each product as required.
T-627 Flat Surface Tape Applicator
The T-627 Tape Applicator is designed to apply a wide variety of pressure-sensitive tapes to flat surfaces. Tape strips can be applied continuously or short strips with gaps can be applied to each product as required. This tape applicator can be mounted over a moving product, along a conveyor, or used on custom-designed taping equipment moving the tape head across the product.
T-628 Flat Surface Tape Applicator
The T-628 Tape Applicator is designed to apply a wide variety of pressure-sensitive tape to flat surfaces. Tape strips can be applied continuously or short strips with gaps can be applied to each product as required. This tape applicator can be mounted over a moving product on a conveyor or used on custom-designed taping equipment moving the tape head across the product.
SD Conveyor System for Packaging Products
The SD Conveyor System is designed as a universal conveyor and control system to accommodate a variety of Straub Design tape applicators to apply pressure-sensitive tapes. The system can be configured for a variety of widths and lengths. One or more tape applicators can be mounted to the system, with an application speed of up to 100 feet per minute (30.5 m/min).
SD-654 Tape Applicator
The SD-654 Tape Applicator is designed to apply hard-to-cut tapes such as magnetic tape, hook and loop tape, and Velcro® tape to flat surfaces. Tape strips can be applied continuously, or short strips with gaps can be applied to each product as required. The speed is adjustable up to 50 feet per minute.
SD-610 Robot-Mounted Tape Applicator
The SD-610 Robot-Mounted Tape Applicator is designed to handle the demands of 6-axis tape application with robot end-of-arm tooling in mind. The applicator is intended to be mounted on a robot wrist joint. The recommended minimum robot size is 10 kilograms, not limited to depending on the application. Available for ¼ inch (6 millimeters), 3/8 inch (10 millimeters), ½ inch (12 millimeters), ¾ inch (18 millimeters), and 1 inch (25 millimeters) wide tape. Custom widths are available upon request.
SD-680 Bag Fill Valve Taping System
The SD-680 automatic tape applicator operates independently or can integrate with your valve bag filling machine to seal the leading edge of the fill valve.
