The SD-654 Tape Applicator is designed to apply hard-to-cut tapes such as magnetic tape, hook and loop tape and Velcro® tape to flat surfaces. Tape strips can be applied continuously or short strips with gaps can be applied to each product as required. This tape applicator can be mounted over a moving product, conveyor or used on custom designed taping equipment moving the tape applicator across the product.
The Model SD-654 applies up to 1/16” thick hard-to-cut tapes to a product, moving either the product or the tape applicator, which pulls the tape from the roll. A liner rewind removes the liner from the tape as it is being applied. Speed is adjustable up to 50 fpm.
