Overview:
We are a growing manufacturing company with a team-oriented culture focused on quality, safety and continuous improvement. As we expand, we’re seeking a proactive and adaptable IT Coordinator. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of our IT department, provide technical support to employees, maintain IT systems, and manage relationships with vendors. You will serve as a key liaison between end-users and our technical teams, ensuring smooth communication and efficient resolution of IT needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide user support: Answering employee questions, resolving IT support tickets, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Manage IT infrastructure: Installing and configuring software and hardware, maintaining equipment inventory, and ensuring the smooth operation of networks, servers, and cloud-based systems. There will be hands-on system administration.
  • Coordinate IT projects: Assisting with the planning and execution of IT initiatives such as hardware refreshes, migrations, system upgrades, security enhancements, and new software installations.
  • Manage vendor relationships: Working with third-party vendors and service providers to procure equipment and handle complex technical support needs.
  • Maintain security and reliability: Implementing security protocols, monitoring systems for threats, responding to incidents and reducing recurring issues through root cause analysis.
  • Develop procedures: Creating and maintaining documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials for IT systems as well as automating routine tasks using scripting (PowerShell preferred).
  • Onboard and offboard employees: Managing IT equipment and system access for new hires and exiting employees.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in IT support
  • Knowledge of hardware and software, network management (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP), operating systems (Windows, Linux), Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft 365
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to diagnose and resolve a variety of technical issues efficiently
  • Strong time management and attention to detail are necessary for managing multiple tasks, projects, and IT inventory.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional support to end-users and other stakeholders.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial B2B environment is a plus
