SD-680 Bag Fill Valve Taping System
The SD-680 Fill Valve Taping System automatically dispenses, cuts, and applies 2” to 6” wide pressure-sensitive tape to filled bags to support and protect the fill valve. A control system provides consistent tape metering and bag valve sealing at speeds up to 200’ of tape per minute.
When paired with the optional conveying system, the product moves down the belt as air knives remove dust from the bag surface to improve tape adhesion. Pneumatically controlled hold-down wheels help drive the product through the machine as a roller applies and secures one L-clip of tape along the leading edge of the fill valve. The tape is applied up to 4” on either side of the fill valve for maximum protection.
The SD-680 is ideal for food and beverage production or any operation involving the application of bag sealing tape to fill valves.
