3M and Straub Design Announce Introduction of the Olympus III Road Tape Application System for 3M™ Stamark™ Pavement Marking Tape
ST. PAUL and MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota October 17, 2019- 3M (NYSE: MMM), a global leader in consumer and industrial material sciences, and Straub Design, a leader in tape application equipment, today announced the successful launch of the Olympus III Pavement Marking System, a truck mounted road tape application system jointly developed by both companies for the transportation safety market.
The Olympus III is designed and commercially available for pavement marking contractors who seek to improve productivity and safety in application processes involving 3M™ Stamark™ pavement marking tape. The Olympus III system leverages industry standard tape application components and best practices to deliver a flexible, simple, safe and cost-effective solution. Both 3M and Straub Design believe significant opportunities exist in the global transportation safety space to use the Olympus III to apply industry-leading 3M pavement marking products.
