The SD-650 Label Applicator Kit is designed as an add-on option for select Straub Design tape applicators, enabling accurate application of pre-printed pressure-sensitive label tape to flat product surfaces.
Label strips can be applied continuously or as individual labels with gaps, depending on application requirements. The applicator automatically senses the registration mark on the printed tape stock and applies each label precisely in reference to that mark—ensuring consistent label placement at production speed.
The SD-650 can be mounted over a moving product or conveyor or integrated into custom-designed taping equipment where the applicator moves across the product.

For proper operation, the product must be firmly driven under the applicator or securely fixtured when the applicator is moving. For non-rigid products, the combined tape strip length and inset length should exceed 2″ (50 mm).
