Built to maintain continuous tape flow, it operates as a companion machine to Straub Design applicators such as the Model T-627, T-626, and Vacuum Wheel systems—supporting high-speed intermittent application of pressure-sensitive tapes without interruption.

Continuous Splicing Without Slowing Production

The S-300 enables uninterrupted operation by automatically splicing a new roll of tape to the running web before the current roll is depleted. Using a controlled lap splice process, the machine maintains consistent tape delivery to the applicator—eliminating downtime and helping production lines run efficiently at higher speeds.

A pull roll system draws tape from the roll while a festoon maintains constant tension, ensuring smooth handoff to downstream equipment. Operator notifications signal when reload is required, keeping the process predictable and easy to manage.
